TANGELO MINNEOLA

The Tangelo is a species of citrus fruit. It was created as a hybrid between mandarin and pamplemusa or mandarin and grapefruit.

The fruits can be the size of the fist of an adult person and have a flavor similar to mandarin, but juicier, to the point of not having too much pulp but producing an excellent juice.

They are easily distinguishable from oranges by a characteristic protuberance that has the fruit at its insertion with the peduncle. The peel of tangelos is easier to peel than that of oranges
