WHO ARE WE?

Hapina Exports is an agro-export company founded in 2021. We are dedicated to the production, collection, and export of Peruvian fruits, vegetables, and grains, closing the gap between Peruvian small farmers and the international market.

In order to meet the requirements of our customers, our main focus is on the quality of our products. To this end, we take advantage of the richness of the Peruvian soil and the different microclimates that the coast, mountains, and jungles of Perú have to offer

In addition, our company places great importance on ensuring that the products reach the agreed destination on time.

Since our offices are located both in Germany and Perú, we are able to be in constant communication with our customers and also with our service providers and strategic partners throughout the whole supply chain

As an international company, communication with us can be in English, Spanish or German.

Hapina Exports was founded with the aim of bridging the gap between Peruvian small farmers and the international market.

Globally

We want to build long term relationships with our customers and keep inspiring them with the quality of our products, as well as the reliability and professionalism of our company.

Locally

We want to develop a closer bond with our suppliers from the poorest areas of Peru where economic injection and the arrival of new capital is much needed and can make a positive impact in the community.

Being a developing company ourselves we want to help the surrounding communities in Peru to grow with us by introducing them into a more formal and lucrative market through the knowledge of our experts and access to new technologies that will make their own farms more effective and productive.

Our Team

José Nicolás de Piérola

GENERAL MANAGER

José Nicolás de Piérola is the General Manager and CEO of Hapina Exports and is in charge of the entire supply chain of our products.

In this sense, he supervises and supports the productive area of our company such as export logistics and the constant coordination and communication with our customers in Europe, where he has been living since 2018.

He studied law at the Universidad de Lima and has practiced in some of the most prestigious law firms in Perú. Regarding the public sector, He has also worked at the Central Reserve Bank of Perú and the Peruvian Congress.

He studied a master’s degree in International Business at the SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences and a master’s degree at Supply Chain Management in INSEEC Bordeaux and later worked as an Investment Banker at Banco Santander in Frankfurt.

Philipp Hoefling

Regional manager - Europe

Philipp Hoefling is the Sales and Business Development Manager of Hapina Exports.

Business Development and Sales Manager.

As Sales Manager at Hapina, Philipp oversees and coordinates all communication and business-related matters for our customers and acts as a central point of contact for our customers in Europe.

Previously, he acquired valuable skills as a corporate and investment banker at Banco Santander and BNP Paribas.

Philipp studied economics at the University of Kassel and Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia.

STEFANO MENDIETA

Procurement Manager

Stefano Mendieta works as a Commercial Representative at Hapina Exports, playing a crucial role in coordinating, managing, and transmitting information in exports for our clients.

His responsibilities range from providing comprehensive support to exporters to ensuring smooth communication and efficient sales management.

With a solid background in Biology from Universidad Científica del Sur and a specialization in Agroexports from ADEX, Stefano has developed a perspective that enables him to navigate adeptly in the world of international trade. His previous experience in retail and food export sectors has equipped him with a thorough understanding of the industry, and his commitment to successful trade transactions is unwavering.

Naida Fernández

COMMERCIAL MANAGER

Naida Alessandra Fernández Carrasco brings a rich and varied background to her role as Commercial Manager in our company.

Holding a degree in Tourism Management from USIL and Translation and Interpretation from Universidad Ricardo Palma in Lima, she also pursued studies in psychology at Universidad Intercontinental de México and completed a master's degree in Psychology at the Sociedad Hispanoamericana de Psicología Aplicada in Spain.

Her expertise spans translation, interpretation, and bilingual education, with specializations from International House Barcelona and Universidad Antonio de Nebrija in Spain, complemented by international certifications as a teacher of English, French, Italian, and Portuguese.
Naida's experience as a simultaneous interpreter, her prowess in communication, and her extensive background in international trade all contribute to the success of our company.
